Once you have an Operator’s Licence your business may change. You will need to apply for a major variation if:
- You wish to operator more vehicles / trailers
- You move your operating centre (the place where your vehicles are normally parked)
- You wish to add an additional operating centre
Applications must be made before the event so that unauthorised use of vehicles or operating centres can be avoided.
It is important to be aware that if you are a sole trader or partnership and you become a limited company then you will need to make a new application.
