The Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme for fleet operators which aims to raise the level of quality within fleet operations and to demonstrate which operators are reaching its high standards. It encompasses all aspects of safety, fuel efficiency, vehicle emissions and improved operations. FORS helps fleet operators to measure, monitor performance and alter their operations in order to demonstrate best practice.
We can help in the implementation of the FORS standard requirements in preparation for the FORS Bronze audit. Our consultant is a FORs Pre-Audit Provider and also a current FORS Auditor.
The FORS Audit process itself is definitely not one to be underestimated and is very thorough.
The service we provide would include 2 days on site by our consultant and construction of a transport management system and drivers handbook tailored to your current operations.
- Day 1- An overview of your current operating procedures, a basic transport compliance audit and information gathering to enable the construction of the transport management system (FORS is a mix of transport compliance and best practice).
- Day 2 – Delivery of the constructed documents and guidance in how to implement these in preparation for the FORS audit.
Our fees include a guaranteed first time bronze audit pass (if a company fails, we provide all support required to pass the follow-up, free of charge).
